Alice Jane Leighty , 73, of Lafayette, died, Monday, October 16, 2023. She was born, November 9, 1949, in Lafayette, to the late George & Lillian (Dimmick) Leighty. She was a 1967 graduate of Benton Central (at Montmorenci) High School & had attended Purdue University. She had formerly worked at Twin City Dodge, Andrews Olds, Department of Motor Vehicles & secretary for Tippecanoe County Council. Alice was an avid Purdue Boilermaker fan. She enjoyed playing cards, crossword puzzles, word searches & loved to Google on her phone.

Alice is survived by her Sister, Anne Leighty. She is preceded in death by her Uncle, Rod (Irene) Dimmick & 2 Cousins, John Dimmick & Pat Dimmick Leising.

Graveside services will be at 11 AM, Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Pond Grove Cemetery, with Rev. Daniel Eggold officiating. Shoemaker Funeral Home, Otterbein, is assisting Alice's Family.
