Allen Hardebeck , 77, of Earl Park, died, Friday, August 30, 2019. He was born August 14, 1942, in Lafayette, to the late Leonard & Lela (Durflinger) Hardebeck. He married, Helen (Garrett) Hardebeck October 20, 1962, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Earl Park; she survives. He was a 1960 graduate of Earl Park High School. He was a self-employed electrical contractor, he owned & operated Allen Hardebeck Electrical Contracting. He had served in the Indiana National Guard. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church & Earl Park American Legion Post #455. He had served several years as Richland Township Trustee & the Earl Park Fall Festival Committee & volunteered for numerous years at the Fall Festival. He enjoyed spending time with his Children & Grandchildren, gardening, golfing, bird watching & loved to watch westerns & eat popcorn.
Surviving with his Wife, Helen, are their 4 Children, David (Lynda Lawson) Hardebeck, Chapin, SC, Tina (Michael) Pitts, Dunnington, Greg (Kristen) Hardebeck, Earl Park & Pam (Kary) Ishmiel, Earl Park, 11 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren, 7 Sisters, Janet (Ed) Cahill, Carol (Leonard) Sigo, Mary Louise (Willie) Flook, Maxine (Jim) Wetli, Lynda (Denny) Stepp, Kathy (Steve) Bower & Lori (Mark) Sharon & 3 Brothers, Michael (Ann) Hardebeck, Luke (Mary Lou) Hardebeck & Mark Hardebeck. He is preceded in death by 3 Brothers, Paul, Matt & Frank Hardebeck & a Grandson, Jeff Cook.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 4, 2019, from 9 AM until the time of Rosary at 10:45 AM, with the Funeral Mass at 11 AM, with Father Robert J. Bernotas officiating, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 205 South Chestnut Street, Earl Park. Burial, immediately following, at St. John the Baptist Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Earl Park Fall Festival (For Memorial Tree Fund). Shoemaker Funeral Home, Otterbein, is assisting the Hardebeck Family.
