Amy Jo Wing Rossiter , 49, of Lafayette and formerly of Fowler, died Friday, February 28, 2025, after a brief illness. She was born June 24, 1975, in Lafayette. She was the daughter of Rickey and LuAnn (Wiley) Wing of Fowler. Amy married Michael Rossiter November 8, 2003, in Fowler. He preceded her in death on June 21, 2005.

Amy was a 1994 graduate of Benton Central High School. She attended St. Joseph's College and graduated from Ivy Tech in nursing. She was a nurse at Home Hospital, Westminster Village, University Place and Green Hill Manor Nursing Home. Most recently, she had been a private caregiver.

Amy enjoyed crafts, scrapbooking, and spending time with her friends and family, especially her boys, Cameron and Colton. She was a true friend and cherished family member. She had a heart of gold and loved caring for others. Amy will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Amy is survived by her two sons, Cameron Rossiter and Colton Rossiter; parents, Rickey and LuAnn Wing; sisters, Angie Brothers (Chris) of West Lafayette and Heidi Sturgeon (Brad) of Fowler; nephews and nieces, Jude, Grey and Lennon Sturgeon, and Bo and Vada Brothers.  Amy leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and beloved friends.

Amy was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Rossiter; nephew, Jonah Sturgeon; grandparents, Gene and Mary Alice (Spillman) Wiley and Gene and Fay (Burton) Wing; special Uncle Howard Burton; great grandparents, Ray and Cecilia (Metzinger) Wing, and Lewis and Irene (Byrd) Wiley.

Visitation will be Saturday March 8, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until start of Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 107 E Main St., Fowler, with Father Sean Aaron officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Amy's younger son, Colton Rossiter, for an account that has been set-up at The Farmers & Merchants Bank, P.O. Box 519, Boswell, IN. 47921.
