Ashlena Mary (Lanie-Landaker) King , 29, of Oxford, died, Monday, November 14, 2022; due to injuries sustained in a car accident. She was born, October 3, 1993, in Lafayette. She was a 2012 graduate of Waterford High School, in Waterford, Ohio & a 2015 graduate of Mountain State Community College, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, with an Associate Degree in Drug & Alcohol Addictions. She married, Devin King, July 28, 2020, in Fowler; he survives. Ashlena worked as a Case Manager, for Valley Oaks Health, out of Delphi, for over 2 years. She loved her job, all of her clients & co-workers. Ashlena had a passion to help people with drug & alcohol addictions & had hoped to someday open her own treatment facility. She enjoyed baking & making crafts with her 2 sons, Finnley & Sawyer; as they were her pride & joy.

Ashlena is survived by her Husband, Devin King, 2 Sons, Finnley Wayne Kessell, age 5 & Sawyer Mathew King, age 1, Mom & Step-Dad, Tonya & Lawrence Van Dame, Dad, Adam Landaker, Biological Dad, Jerald Lanie, 4 Brothers, Nickolas & Kobe Landaker & Kyle & Kolby Lanie, Sister, Jessica Lanie, Mother-in-Law, Peggy King, Father-in-Law, Kevin King, Step-Grandparents, Larry & Sheryl Van Dame & several Aunts, Uncles & Cousins. She is preceded in death by her Grandmother, Mary Jo Stratton, Great-Grandparents, Carl & Joanne Waddle, Great-Aunt, Carla Coffman, Step-Grandma, Brenda McClure, Step-Great-Grandma, Anita Gregory, Step-Mom, Teresa Lanie & 2 Brothers, JD & Isaiah Lanie.

Visitation will be, Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 4-8 PM, at Shoemaker Funeral Home, Otterbein. Family request casual attire. Funeral Services will be Private Family.
