Barbara Jean Ford , 80, of Lafayette & formerly of Boswell, died, Wednesday, May 23, 2018. She was born December 27, 1937, in Somerset, Kentucky to the late Leonard & Lola (Loveless) Lorton. She was a 1956 graduate of Boswell High School. She married Donald Ford, August 24, 1958, in Boswell; he survives. Barb had worked as the Head Baker at Wiley Dining Court, at Purdue University. She had also work for the BMV, in Boswell, for several years, before they closed & had worked at Fellure Foods, Otterbein. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church & was a member of the Beulah Chapter 102 Order of Eastern Star. Barb loved to spend time with her Family. She enjoyed quilting, Swedish weaving, camping, spending time in Florida & loved Christmas time & Christmas decorations.

Surviving with her Husband, Don, Lafayette, are 3 Daughters, Maurie Morgan & Nancy Muse, both of Lafayette & Amy (Larry) Schellenberger, Earl Park, 5 Grandchildren, Bryan (Elizabeth) Morgan, Brianne Reifel, Patrick (Casey) Schellenberger, Sara Schellenberger & Bradford Muse, 6 Great-Grandchildren, Abbigail, Chloe, Anneliese, Christian, Madison & Maylee, with the 7th due in October, Sister, Francis Larch, Brother Paul (Mary Jane) Lorton & Sister-in-Law, Kate Ford.

Visitation to Celebrate Barb's Life will be, Tuesday, May 29, 2018, from 1 PM until the time of Service at 3 PM, at Grace United Methodist Church, 615 N. 22nd St., Lafayette, with Pastor Lore Blinn Gibson & Pastor Ryan Traeger officiating. A private Family burial will take place at Boswell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church.
