Brian M. McDaniel "Mac" , 62, of Boswell, died Saturday, September 21, 2024. He was born November 15, 1961, in Lafayette, to the late Glenn C. & Patricia (Metzinger) McDaniel Taylor. He married, Emily (Schutter) McDaniel, April 16, 1988, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in Fowler; she survives. Brian was a 1980 graduate of Benton Central High School and a 1984 graduate of Purdue University, with a degree in Ag Systems Management. He was a Customer Business Advisor for Bayer Crop Science. Mac loved spending time with his family and friends; especially his Grandkids. He enjoyed hunting, bee keeping with his daughter (MBee's Honey Farm) and the Indianapolis 500. Mac was easy to love and had a gift for conversation. He never met a stranger and once you met him, he was a friend forever. Mac was one of the good ones, a man with good intention, always reaching out and cheering others on. He had a talent of remembering many names and faces. He had a wealth of knowledge in the Ag Industry and loved visiting and riding with all his farmers during harvest. Mac's smile and kindness will be deeply missed by many.

Brian is survived by his Wife, Emily McDaniel, Son, Landon (Lauren) McDaniel, Daughter, Marybeth McDaniel, Grandchildren, Lennox and Ledger McDaniel, Father-in- law Joseph (Janet) Schutter, close family Jackie Steinmetz and her children Katie (Brett) Kult, John (Kayla) Gretencord, Jake (Claire) Gretencord & all of their children. His siblings: Valerie (Kevin) Braaksma. Michelle (Ron) Martin; Nicole (Jeff) McConnell; Kathleen (Chad) Hoey. Brian also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins he loved dearly. Preceding Brian to Heaven; is his father Glenn McDaniel, mother Patricia (Metzinger) McDaniel Taylor, stepfather James Taylor; sister & brother-in-law, Jennifer (Taylor) & Dave Bennett and Brother in-law Stanley Albertson, Mother-in-law Mary Jo Schutter.

Visitation will be, Friday, October 4th, 2024, from 4PM to 8PM, and a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, October 5th, 2024 at 10AM. Family ask that you dress casual because Mac was a casual man. Both services will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2960 S. State Road 71, Fowler, IN, (Dunnington) with Father Robert Klemme & Father Sean Aaron officiating.
