Bryan Lee Johnson (June 2, 2018)

Bryan left this world to join his parents and brothers; Michael, Steven, and Charles "Chuck" Johnson in heaven.  Born on May 6, 1964 to Charles "Bruce" & Evelyn Ruth Johnson, he was the 10th of 11 children. After graduating from Benton Central High School in 1982, he moved to Florida where he met & married Lela Schwope. They returned to Indiana in 1992 to raise their three children in the Otterbein area. Bryan loved his family tremendously & enjoyed spending time with them.

As a proud business owner, Bryan started Johnson Construction LLC in 1986, where he specialized in home construction. He'd often say, "If you're going to do a job, do it right." His work shed was filled with projects, and his heart & head full of creative ideas & his mouth was full of rambling sentences. He smelt of Marlboro cigarettes & was brand loyal to Budweiser beer.  He had a soft spot for animals & loved his three dogs. Bryan never met a stranger & would talk to anybody; he loved to spend time with his friends.

He is survived by his immediate family; 2 Sons, Charles Tanner Johnson (Lauren) & William Rhys Johnson, only Daughter Amanda Nicole Cronk (Ethan), and former wife, Lela Schwope, 3 brothers; Greg Johnson (Deb), Jon Johnson, & Jeffery Johnson,  4 sisters; Kathy Upmeyer (late Daryl), Susan Davis (Gary), Patricia Farmer (Randy Wilken) & Jennifer Sanders (Rodney). He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and their children.

Visitation will be, Thursday, June 7, 2018, from 4-8 PM, at Shoemaker Funeral Home, Otterbein. Funeral services will be, at St. Charles Catholic Church, 108 North Meadow St., Otterbein, Friday, June 8, 2018, at 10 AM, with Father Robert Klemme officiating. Burial will be at Pond Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shoemaker Funeral Home, PO Box 549, Otterbein, IN  47970, to assist the family with expenses.
