Carl Raymond Wilson , 83, of West Lafayette, died, Saturday, December 4, 2021. He was born, June 16, 1938, in Benton County, to the late Carl Robert & Helen (Harrington) Wilson. He attended Otterbein High School. He married Irma (Davis) Wilson, June 16, 1959, in Lafayette; she died, November 27, 2021. He served in the United States Army. Carl previously worked at Alcoa, for 23 1/2 years & was an owner/operator truck driver. He loved spending time with his Grandchildren & enjoyed camping, gardening & yard work.

Surviving are 2 Daughters, Jolene Shoaf & Patricia Tolen, 3 Sons, Robert Wilson, Steven Wilson & Matthew Wilson, 3 Grandchildren, Ashley Wilson, Britney Wilson & Timothy Tolen, 4 Great- Grandchildren, Alexis Wilson, Landen Wilson, Jamie Weston & Bryson Weston, Half-Sister, Diana McMindes & numerous Nieces & Nephews. He is preceded in death by, Wife, Irma Wilson & Sister & Brother-in-Law, Judith & Richard Synesael.

Visitation will be, Friday, December 10, 2021 from 11 AM until time of services at 1 PM, at Shoemaker Funeral Home, Otterbein, with Pastor Mason Storm officiating. Burial will be at Davis Cemetery.
