Carol Ann Dwenger , 62, formerly of Dunnington, Indiana died March 22, 2018 at Signature Health Care, Lafayette, IN.  She was the 8 ^th of 9 children born to Urban and Alice Hasser Dwenger on December 17, 1955 at Lafayette, IN.  She attended St. Mary's Catholic Elementary School in Dunnington until the school closed in 1968.  She graduated from Benton Central High School in 1974.

For 24 years Carol was employed by Purdue University, CINDAS, TPRL as an Administrative Assistant until the office closed.  Later she worked at various departments at Purdue.  Carol enjoyed traveling to California, Michigan and Ohio.  She had been a member of the "Legion of Mary", and a parishioner at St. Charles Church in Otterbein.

She was a loving daughter and sister and had special places in her heart for all her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by 3 sisters and 4 brothers:  Janet Kult, Boswell, Dave (Eileen) Dwenger, Cambridge City, IN, Jim (Betty) Dwenger, Fowler, Mary (Ken) Meyer, Petersburg, IN, Norma McGinnis, W Lafayette, Steve (Helga Haniford) Dwenger, Boswell, Mike (Melisa) Dwenger, W Lafayette.  Fifteen nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Alice and Urban Dwenger in 1997 and 1999 respectively; her sister Linda Miltz (2018), her brothers-in-law, Joe Kult (2016) and Ken McGinnis (2017).

There will be a Memorial Mass for everyone at St. Charles Catholic Church, 108 North Meadow St., Otterbein, Indiana on April 14, 2018 at 11 A.M.  Father Robert Klemme will be the celebrant.  No Visitation.  Private Family Burial.  Donations can be given to Mental Health America, 914 South St, Lafayette, IN 47901 or  St. Charles Church.  Shoemaker Funeral Home of Otterbein is assisting the family.
