Cecil "Butch" Traylor , 84, of Fowler, died Thursday, September 5, 2024. He was born March 23, 1940, in Marrowbone, KY, to the late Raymond & Ruby (Davis) Traylor. He married Helen Carol (Wilson) Traylor, June 19, 1964; she survives. Butch spent most of his life working in agriculture having worked for Don Center, Wayne Center, Galen Shultz & Dick Berenda. He also worked for Bill Lawson at the Chase Elevator, Jerry Metzinger at the Boswell Elevator & also the Templeton Elevator. He raised cattle & hogs. He also owned & operated a used car lot in Boswell, C&R Car Sales. Butch was an avid coon hunter. He was always up for telling a story. He enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs, Indianapolis Colts & old westerns. He loved tinkering with anything mechanical. Butch is survived by his Wife, Helen, Son, Randy (Michelle) Traylor, Daughter, Sandy (John) Lather, 3 Grandchildren, Rachael (Justin) Carlile, Andy (Megan) Traylor & Ashley Lather, 5 Great-Grandchildren, Shellby, Hunter, Gaige, Logan & Gavin, Brother, David (Linda) Traylor, Sister, Geneva Cummins & Sister-in-Law, Debbie Traylor. He is preceded in death by 3 Sisters & 3 Brothers.
