Christine "Chris K. Marko" Dalton , 64 of West Lafayette, died Saturday, May 2, 2026. She was born March 4, 1962, in Lafayette. She was a 1980 graduate of Benton Central High School. She worked as a property manager for Georgetown South Apartments. She attended Connection Pointe Church. Chris enjoyed spending time with her family & friends, was constantly with her grandchildren & took care of her Mom. If she was not attending a sporting event for one of her grandkids they were probably having a sleepover at grandma's house. She loved spending time decorating her house for the season or the holiday depending on what time of year it was. Her house was full of decorations for that time of year. She loved gardening and had an amazing green thumb.

Chris is survived by her Mom, Nancy Marko, 3 Sons, Jason Dalton, Justin (Kallee) Dalton & Jordan Dalton, ten Grandchildren, Lexi, Eli, Keirsten, Robby, Levi, Zakhary, Sophie, Scarlett, Zarah & Zayden Dalton, three Brothers, Mike & Jennifer, Jeff & Audrey, Gary & Vicki Marko & numerous Nieces & Nephews. She is preceded in death by her Dad, Lloyd Marko, Brother, Steven Matthews & Maternal Grandparents, William & Alpha M. Nichols.

A Celebration of Chris's Life will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 5 PM until time of Memorial Service at 7 PM, with Larry Dalton officiating, at Shoemaker Funeral Home, Otterbein.
