Obituary

Craig Joseph "CJ" Reynolds , 81, of West Lafayette, died Thursday, July 25, 2024; surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 17, 1943, in Inglewood, California, to the late Gerald & Jeanette (Evjen) Reynolds. He married Joanne "Jo" (Andres) Reynolds, February 29, 1988, in Lafayette; she survives. He had served in the United States Army National Guard from 1964 until 1970. He had previously owned Network Cablers & ran a bookkeeping service. CJ was an avid Purdue Boilermaker fan & enjoyed carpooling for his Grandkids, doing house projects, listening to audio books & loved Mexican food, coffee & going to the beach. According to CJ his occupation was, "Biden paid him to stay home, and it's the ONLY thing that Biden has done right".

CJ is survived by his Wife, Jo Reynolds, 5 Children, Heidi (Jeff) Ward, Randy (Chrissie) Reynolds, Chris (Lisa) Bowen, Robbi Reynolds & Chris Reynolds, 13 Grandchildren, Lindsey (Matthew) Smith, Jacob (Rebecca) Kyle, Joshua Bowen, Olivia Havelaar, Logan Kyle, Noble Reynolds, Sydney Bowen, Asher Reynolds, Faith Bowen, Catelyn Reynolds, Jack Murray, Braden Reynolds & Toby Murray & a Sister-in-Law, Julia Reynolds. He is preceded in death by a Brother, Barry Reynolds.

A Celebration of CJ's Life will take place Saturday, August 10, 2024, starting at 3 PM, at CJ & Jo's home, 1771 Garden Street, West Lafayette, IN 47906. CJ's Family would like to give a Special Thank You to Franciscan Hospice; especially Amanda, Darin & Julie. Shoemaker Funeral Home, Otterbein, is assisting CJ's Family.
