Daniel J. Walter , 70, of Otterbein, died Wednesday, March 13, 2024. He was born June 4, 1953, in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late Ernest & Marian (Minnick) Walter. He married, Vicki (Foster) Walter, May 13, 2000, in Boswell; she survives. Dan was a 1971 graduate of Central Catholic High School, in Fort Wayne. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Marine Corp. He had worked for Fairfield Manufacturing. Dan enjoyed woodworking & street racing.

Dan is survived by his wife, Vicki Walter. He is preceded in death by a Brother, Dave Walter.

In accordance with Dan's wishes there will be no formal services. Burial will take place at Boswell Cemetery. Shoemaker Funeral Home, Otterbein is assisting Dan's family.
