Diane Louise Molter , 59, of Lafayette, died, Sunday, March 7, 2021, at Saint Anthony's Health Care. She was born, September 6, 1961, in Lafayette. She attended Benton Community schools until she turned 18 & was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Otterbein. Diane spent 32 years working for Wabash Industries. During those 32 years, she was employed by Burger King for 15 years & the last 16 years working at Wabash Center. She had also worked at Food Finders for 3 years, with her Favorite caregiver LaVaughn Payne; who was like a 2nd Mom to her. Diane enjoyed her family greatly! She loved Purdue Sports, playing games, especially Backgammon, Othello & coloring! You would often find Diane sitting in front of her television watching her favorite western shows and movies. Diane was always ready to go to the movies or go bowling but her favorite thing to do was to go get a Diet Coke & look for cute boys! She absolutely loved spending the weekend's at one of her sisters houses. Diane loved babies! She could sit & hold her many Nieces, Nephews & Great-Nieces & Nephews for hours. Diane volunteered a lot of her time at Lafayette Food Finders. She also participated in Special Olympic for several years. Diane loved her years living in her own apartment with her roommate, Susie Bailey, before moving to St. Anthony's. The family would like to send out a big thank you to St. Anthony's for the great care and love that they gave her. You were a second family to her!

Diane was so loved by her 4 Sisters & her Brother; Debbie (Steve) Kerkhove, Denise (Mike) Walters, Denny (Lori) Molter, Darci (Brad) McKinney & Dawn (Eliseo) Medrano.

Diane had 15 Nieces & Nephews she loved deeply; Shane (Chrissy) Kerkhove, Heather

(Jayson) Lohmeyer, Amanda (Jonathan) Taylor, Kendra (Calvin) Underwood, Jessica Walters,

Kaleb (Kaitlyn) Molter, Kyle Molter, Kayne Molter, Kole Molter, Brady (Morgan) McKinney, Taylor McKinney, Joshua Cawthon, Ashlyn Cawthon, Mateo Medrano & Shelby Medrano. Diane also has 17 Great-Nieces & Nephews. Diane had 2 very special Step-Nieces that she grew up with that felt more like sisters to her, Tracie (Kevin) Shoults & Tammy (Jim) Crozier. Diane also had another Step-Niece, Kaylee (Rob) Smith. Along with her Step-Nieces she gained 5 more Great-Nieces & Nephews & 1 Great-Great Nephew. She is also survived by her Mother, Karen Molter & Father, Harold Molter. Diane was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents, Eugene & Helen (Shide) Armold & Paternal Grandparents, Clarence & Rosetta (Butz) Molter.

Visitation will be will be Thursday, March 11, 2021, from 10 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial, at 12 PM at St. Charles Catholic Church, 108 N. Meadow St., Otterbein, with Father Richard Weisenberger officiating. (Due to the current pandemic, please wear your masks & practice social distancing.)
