Donald B. Bailey , 93, of Fowler, died Friday, December 6, 2024. He was born October 19, 1931, in Earlville, IL, to the late John B. & Sue (Scott) Bailey. He married Mary Lou (Holihan) Bailey, November 6, 1956, in Chicago; she preceded him in death, November 24, 2011. Don was a Korean War veteran, proudly serving in the United States Army from 1953 until he was honorably discharged in 1961. He had worked as a sales rep. for F.S. Royster Guano Co. & W.R. Grace Fertilizer. He was also a licensed Indiana State Real Estate Broker, owning Bailey Real Estate & BC Motors, since 1975. Don was a proud & active member of the Fowler American Legion Post #57 & the 40/8 Voiture 755. He enjoyed playing cards especially euchre, hearts & poker. He attended many Senior Games with his Brother, Bob.

Don is survived by his Son, Joe Bailey, 2 Brothers, Bob & Bill Bailey & 3 Sisters, Shirley Kerr, Betty Schwarz & Kim Bailey. He is preceded in death by his Wife, Mary Lou Bailey, Son, Rick Bailey & Sister, Jacqueline Bailey.

In accordance with Don's wishes there will be a Graveside Service, with Military Honors & a Celebration of Don's life, at a later date.
