Donald K. Brown, 94, of Fowler, passed away, on Saturday, November 8, 2025; surrounded by his loving family. He was born, May 12, 1931, in Oxford, to the late Russell & Fern (Swim) Brown. He was a 1950 graduate of Oxford High School. He joined the Air Force in December 1950 during the Korean War & was Honorable Discharged, in 1954. Don married Wetanah (Pierce) Brown, on Nov. 14, 1953; she preceded him in death, on March 18, 2017. After the Air Force he drove semi's all over the country, from coast to coast & into Canada. Don was a Life Member of the Fowler American Legion Pickle Post # 57; where he was past Commander & served on the Honor Guard, as a trustee & bar manager. He was also a Life Member of the AMVETS Post #102 & 40/8 Voiture 755, where he had served as Chaplain. He enjoyed camping, boating, fishing & watching westerns. Don had special fishing trips, to Kentucky Lake, with Larry Vaughn.
Don is survived by his 2 Sons, Scott (Lisa) Brown & Brian Brown (companion, Connie Carter), 2 Daughters, Cindy Hamilton & Paula Fuehrer, very special kids, Linda (Steve) Gurnick. 11 Grandkids, Keith (Rebecca) Lank, Cody Hamilton, Kaylee Nelson, Mylie (Stephen) Williams, Mori (Justin) Smith, Dustin Gushwa, Chris Brown, Zachary Brown, Derek Fuehrer, Steven Lynch & Adam Lynch & 15 Great-Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by 2 Son-in-Laws, Ronnie Lank & Mark Hamilton.

A Celebration of Don's Life will be held, on Friday, November 28, 2025, at the Fowler American Legion, 400 E. 5th St., Fowler, from 3-7 PM, with Poppy Service, at 4 PM & Military Honors, at 5 PM. Casual Attire is requested. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Fowler American Legion Post 57, 400 E. 5th St., Fowler, IN 47944.
