Donald "Huey" Eberhardt , 61, of Fowler, died, Monday, April 27, 2020; after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born, June 15, 1958, in Lafayette, to the late Roland & Anna Mae (Barker) Eberhardt. He married, Karen (Dalton) Eberhardt, March 31, 1985, in Kentucky; she survives. He was a 1977 graduate of Benton Central High School. Huey had worked at Capital Products for 22 years, Town of Fowler for 12 years Indiana State Highway for 10 years & was an active member of the Fowler-Center Township Fire Department for 33 years. Huey enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, going to his lake house and riding his pontoon boat. He spent a lot of time in his garden, always trying to grow the biggest zucchini. Huey was a real jokester and always looking for the next laugh. He was a hard worker and never turned down the chance to help out on a home project. He loved spending time with his kids and sneaking sweet treats to the grandkids. If they came in with a snack he would always say "where's mine?"

Huey is survived by Wife, Karen, 4 Children, Amber (Eric) Beavens, Amanda Dalton, Michael (Megan) Dalton & Daniel (Kelly) Eberhardt, 11 Grandchildren, Raelyn Beavens, Abigail Archer, Allee Archer, Riley Beavens, Ethyn Hatke, Michael Dalton, Madilyn Sexton, Serenity Dalton, Jeanette Dalton, Ellie Dalton & Drake Eberhardt, Sister, Cheryl (Jim) Slavens,  Brother, Dave (Cindy) Eberhardt & several Nieces & Nephews. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Roland & Anna Mae (Barker) Eberhardt & Father-in-Law & Mother-in-Law, Lonny "Sonny" & Marie Dalton.

Due to social distancing mandates, friends may pay their respects to the family, without exiting their cars, at a drive-thru visitation, Sunday, May 3, 2020, from 4-7 PM, at the Fowler-Center Township Fire Station, 407 N. Washington St., Fowler. Private Family burial will be at Boswell Cemetery, with Pastor Kirk Zimmerman officiating. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Fowler-Center Township Fire Department. A Celebration of Huey's Life will take place at a later date.
