Saturday, October 23, 2021, this world lost one of its most kind, caring, loving, compassionate, and generous persons that ever lived—our brother, Douglas Bruce Lawson, aka Bungerboo, Bungas among us, Bouglas Bruce, and most affectionately, "Dad" and "Papa!" He had a heart of gold which knew no end in trying to ease the financial burdens of many because in so doing, it helped ease his pain and grief from the loss of his 14-year-old son, who along with 2 other scouts died in a tragic vehicle accident in 1991.

He was the 6 ^th child born to Wm. P. and Irene Grace Wisniewski Weiss Lawson, on June 13, 1957. He attended Boswell Elementary and upon graduating for B.C. in 1975, he joined the USAF, retiring in January 1994.

He truly was a jack of all trades, becoming a licensed electrician, plumber, insurance and Realtor age, landscaper, pool maintenance guy, carpenter, and mentor to many.

Family who preceded him in death were grandparents Fred and Jessie Lee (Smith) Lawson, Wm. F. and Helen F. Weiss, step grandparents Elmer and Lyona Fyfe, father Wm. P. and Stepmother Christine Lawson, Mother Irene G. and James E. Fyffe, sister Barbara L. Slickers, his beloved son Douglas Bruce Lawson Jr., and Step grandson Anthony Smith.

Those surviving are his daughter Christina Marie Lawson, Stepdaughter Julie Reynard, stepson Tony Pramuk Chaiwiset, former wife Jutaraf Saelo Lawson, siblings Diane Le Dawn Lawson (Guy Vernon Johnson), brother-in-law Mark Slickers (Sue), Linda L Zatkulak, Michael S. Lawson (Teresa), Pat Childress (Dave), Jeff Fyffe, Jim Lawson (Jeanette), Laura Blackwell (James), Craig Lawson (Michelle), and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Doug's life will be held Sunday, November 21, at 1 PM at the Boswell Church of Christ, with a meal following the service for anyone wishing to attend.
