E. Maxine Peters , 83, formerly of Otterbein, died, Saturday, July 16, 2022. She was born, August 28, 1938, in Lafayette, to the late Arthur & Gladys (Jamison) Fulks. She married John Leroy Peters, September 14, 1958, in Montmorenci; he died, January 29, 2005. She was a 1956 graduate of Montmorenci High School. Maxine had worked as a waitress for several years & was a former member of the "Red Hats" club. She loved going shopping, visiting with her children & grandchildren& used to dress up for her grandkid's birthdays & Halloween.

Maxine is survived by 2 Daughters, Tammy Sanders & Rebecca (Bill) Jones, 2 Sons, John Peters II & Mike Peters, 11 Grandchildren, Dustin (Morgan) Hudson, Adam (Sarah) Hudson, Brittany Sanders, Jennifer (Russ) Wetli, Jessica (Cory) Hollingsworth, Ashley (Shannon) Boss, Caleb (Courtney) Peters, Joshua (Macey) Whitaker, Justin (Paige) Whitaker, Joey Whitaker & Kaylee Whitaker & Numerous Great-Grandchildren, that always called her "Goofy Grandma". She is preceded in death by a Grandson, Jason Whitaker, 4 Sisters & 1 Brother.
