Edna M. Cackley , 91, of Fowler, died, Saturday, April 25, 2020. She was born, December 7, 1928, in Rockville, IN, to the late Earl & Mary (Branson) DePlanty. She was a 1946 graduate of Rockville High School. She married, Joseph W. Cackley, Sr., November 30, 1951, in Rockville; he died, October 21, 1984. Edna had worked at Community Action Program & at Benton Central High School. She was a member of Beulah Chapter 102 Order of Eastern Star & a very active & dedicated 50 year member of the Fowler United Methodist Church. Edna was the BEST Mom, Grandma & Great-Grandma that ever lived. She was a supreme euchre player. Edna loved to cook & was known as the "Noodle Queen".

Edna is survived by a Daughter, Connie (Bob) Brutus, Son, Jamie (Nichole) Cackley, 12 Grandchildren, Jill, Josh, Jason, Tek, Kord, Brandy, Lacey, Beau, Aubrey, Meghan, Shelby & Andrew, 20 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Sister, Patty (Jack) Novacek, Carol Allen & Joan (Sam) Waldridge, Brother, Earl (Mary) DePlanty & her Golden Girl Janet Miller. She is preceded in death by, 4 Sons, Joe, Jr., Galen, Kenny & Ronnie, 3 Sisters, Virginia Canady, Esther Webster & Loretta Skelton & 3 Brothers, Ernest, Charles & Roy DePlanty

Due to social distancing mandates, friends may pay their respects to the family, without exiting their cars, at a drive-thru visitation under the veranda, in the church parking lot on Friday, May 1, 2020, from 10 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 12 PM, at Fowler United Methodist Church, 908 E. 12 ^th St., Fowler, please enter at the East entrance. Funeral Services, to be broadcasted to the parking lot, with Pastor Matt Wallace officiating. Burial will be at Memory Garden Cemetery, Rockville. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Fowler United Methodist Church. A Celebration of Edna's Life will take place at a later date.
