Florence Sumpter Puetz Krebs , 94, of Fowler, died, Sunday, November 26, 2023. She was born January 10, 1929, in Wyandotte, MI, to the late Joseph & Theresa (Manowski) Sumpter. She was a 1948 graduate of Boswell High School. She married, Donald Puetz, October 16, 1948, in Dunnington; he preceded her in death, July 15, 1969. She married Russell Krebs, November 30, 1979, in Fowler; he preceded her in death, May 7, 1995. Florence was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Dunnington & attending Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fowler. She was also a member of the Tri-County Quilt Club & Red Hat Society. She had worked as a secretary, at Boswell Elementary School, for 10 years. Florence enjoyed traveling; having traveling throughout the states, Canada, Mexico, Asia & Europe. She loved gardening & piecing quilts.

Florence is survived by 2 Daughters, Rebecca (John) Stephens & Louise (Ken) Gudas, 3 Sons, Mike (Peggy) Puetz, Brian (Jill) Puetz & Roger Puetz, 15 Grandchildren & 18 Great- Grandchildren, Sister, Loretta Roe & Brother, Daniel Sumpter. She is preceded in death by a Son, Jeffrey Puetz, Sister, JoAnn Komarynski & 3 Brothers, George, James Lee & Russell Sumpter.

Visitation will be, Friday, December 1, 2023, from 10:30 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2960 S. State Road 71, Fowler, IN, with Father Sean Aaron officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Dunnington.
