Gary Lynn Perkins , 77, of Earl Park, Indiana, died Thursday, July 17, 2025. He was born July 16, 1948 in Lafayette, Indiana to the late Floyd Leroy and Wanda Maxine (Leuck) Perkins. He was a 1967 graduate of Benton Central High School and attended Purdue University, studying Agriculture. Over the years, he worked as a farmer and an over the road truck driver.  Gary enjoyed spending time with family and friends, supporting Benton County 4-H Swine Exhibitors, Indiana Pork Producers and the Indiana Spotted Swine Association. Gary was a dog lover, known by many to be a wise cracking jokester, and never met a stranger.

Gary is survived by his children Son, Michael (Fiancée, Stacey Johnston), Daughter, Michelle (Husband, Bart Coors), Son, Doug (Wife, Melissa), Daughter, Melissa (Husband, Brian Scott), Grandchildren, Bryant and Baylie (Clayton Beeler) Perkins, Samantha (Cole Jarrard), Gabrielle and Alexandra (Jaden) Coors, Abbygail, Angela and Olivia Perkins and Honorae and Ocean Scott, Sister, Cheryl (Larry) Winger,  Niece, Kasey (Jeff) Lowry, Nephews, Matt (Rebecca Hinterlong), Todd (Meredith), and Corey (Sara) Vandeveer, and Andrew (Amy) Winger. He was preceded in death by Partner, Martha Elliott, Sister, Rebecca and Brother in Law, Butch Vandeveer.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the Benton County 4-H Council (Memo: Gary Perkins Memorial).
