Geraldine "Jeri" Brown , 81, of Lafayette & formerly of Boswell, died Wednesday, August 27, 2025. She was born April 30, 1944, in Walker County, AL, to the late Floyd M. & Lillie (Poor) Vanderver. She worked as a loan clerk-university collections, at Purdue University; retiring in 2010. Jeri loved spending time with her children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed line dancing.

Jeri is survived by a Daughter, Kristal (Charlie) Clark, Son, James Brown, 4 Grandchildren, Zachari Muse, Sheldon Clark & Kyleigh & Hannah Brown, 2 Great-Grandchildren, Greysyn & Avalynn Muse, 2 Brothers, Archie & Charles Vanderver & several Nieces & Nephews. She is preceded in death by 6 Brothers, Otis Ray, Bill, Claude, Lloyd, Troy & Floyd Vanderver & 4 Sisters, Betty Jean Bryson, Elsie Vanderver, Ailean Vanderver Holley & Alice Gill.

Honoring Geraldine's wishes there will be a private family graveside service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Riley Children's Hospital.
