Gloria June Hinckley , 91, of Fowler, died Thursday, March 18, 2021.  She was born, March 3, 1930, in Chicago, IL, to the late Israel & Nelva (Shaw) Johnson. She was a 1947 graduate of North Judson High School. She married Gordon Lee Hinckley, on November 6, 1949, at Weaver Chapel in West Lafayette; he preceded her in death, January 16, 2015.

June was a homemaker & helped her husband on their farm in Tippecanoe County.  She is a member of Weaver Chapel UMC & attended Armstrong Chapel UMC. She served as President of the Lafayette District United Methodist Women & was a member of the Conference UMW Nominating Committee. She was a member of Number Ten Grange for over 50 years & served in various capacities at the State & National levels.

Surviving are Daughters, Debra Felix, Brenda Hinckley (Allen Charlesworth), W. Lafayette & Sara Niccum (JR), Fowler, Son, Randy Hinckley (Lori), Griffin, GA, Grandchildren, Daniel (Brandie), Darcy Felix, Joshua, Jason (Miriam), Jared (Carly), James Crain, Story Fenner (Rachel), Zachary (Kortney) Niccum, Abigail Brummet (Austin), Joseph Niccum, AJ & Lane Groen, Michael (Morgan) & Justin (Mallory) Hinckley, 22 Great-Grandchildren & 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Parents, her Brother, Clarence W. Johnson & a Great-Grandson, Jameson Crain.

Visitation will be Monday, March 22, 2021, from 5-8 PM, funeral services will be at 10 AM, Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at Shoemaker Funeral Home, Otterbein, with Brother James Elrod & David Gray officiating. Burial will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. (Due to the current pandemic, please wear your masks & practice social distancing.)
