J. Keith Windler , 67, of Boswell, died Wednesday, May 18, 2022. He was born January 21, 1955, in Lafayette, to the late John "Jack" & Claire (Brouillette) Windler. He married, Carol (Weisenberger) Windler, July 17, 1976, in Earl Park; she survives. He was a 1973 graduate of Benton Central High School. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Keith was employed at Senesac, Inc., from 1986 to 2018, Wilson's, from 2018 to 2021 & the past few months he was working for his brother, at Winco Construction. Keith was an active member of the Boswell-Grant Township Volunteer Fire Department, from 1987 to present, serving as Secretary from 1989 to 1991, Chief from 1991 to 2007, Assistant Chief from 2007 to 2012 & President in 2013. Keith enjoyed cooking, making chips & hunting. In the early 80's he started a fishing trip with friends & co-workers & continued until 2018. He enjoyed attending the bi-annual Windler Reunion with his Family & his "Crazy 8" Siblings. Keith was known for his contagious smile.

Keith is survived by his Wife, Carol, 3 Daughters, Gisele (Sam) Dewing, Andrea (Chris) Leuck & Danielle (Geoff) Irby, 8 Grandchildren, Rylie Ishmiel, Michael & Claire Dewing, Holt Leuck, Colin & Addison Yates & Rigley & Harvey Irby, 7 Siblings, Debra (Steve) Wright, Cindy (Dave) Miller, Pamela (Tom) Lane, Randy (Rosemary) Windler, Don (Ginny) Windler, Teri (Mike) Leuck & Denise (James Norris) Feehan, many Nieces, Nephews & Cousins. He is preceded in death by his Father & Mother-in-Law, Willard & Mildred Weisenberger.

Visitation will be, Monday, May 23, 2022, from 4-8 PM, with Rosary at 4 PM, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 504 S. Michigan St., Oxford. With Mass of Christian Burial, at the church, Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM, with Father Richard Weisenberger officiating. Burial will be at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, with Indiana Volunteer Firefighter Association Honors & Last Alarm Ceremony. Casual attire is requested by Keith's Family.
