Jason Leroy Whitaker , 23, of Fowler, died, Tuesday, May 12, 2020, as the result of a semi accident. He was born, September 8, 1996, in Lafayette, to Rebecca (Peters) Whitaker Jones & Gary Whitaker. He was a 2015 graduate of Benton Central High School. He married, his high school sweet-heart, Kaylee (Daws) Whitaker, August 4, 2018, in Veedersburg; she survives. Jason worked as a hired man & truck driver for Deno Farms. Jason was an extremely proud member & active supporter of the Benton Central FFA. He loved spending time with his wife, Kaylee & Son, Leroy, camping, fishing, playing softball, Tik Tok videos. Jason was a social butterfly & enjoyed hanging out with his friends; he truly never met a stranger or missed an opportunity to talk to people.

Jason is survived by his Wife, Kaylee, Son, Leroy, Dad, Gary, Mom, Rebecca (Bill) Jones, 5 Brothers, Josh (Macey), Justin, Joey (Mikinzie), Dale (Mandy) & Travis (Michelle), Sister, Kristie (William) Stalbuam, Grandma, Maxine Peters, 2 Step-Brothers, James & Tony Jones, Step-Sister Heather Gullion & numerous, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews & Cousins. He is preceded in death by his, Maternal Grandpa, John Leroy Peters & Paternal Grandparents, Willis & Beulah Whitaker.

A private family memorial service will take place, with a semi procession to follow, in Jason's honor. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Kaylee Whitaker account, at any Farmers & Merchants Bank location. A Celebration of Jason's Life will take place at a later date.
