Johnny Ray Tucker , 77, of West Lafayette & formerly of Boswell, died, Tuesday, September 8, 2020. He was born November 14, 1942, in Lafayette to the late John R. & G. Bernice (Fletcher) Tucker. He married, Nancy Louise (Lee) Tucker, March 21, 1965, in Boswell; she survives. Johnny was a proud 1960 graduate of Ambia High School & served, as a 1st Sergeant, in the Army National Guard, Company B 113 Medical Battalion, from 1963-1969. He farmed & also worked as a District Sales Rep for Central Petroleum Company "Cen-Pe-Co". He was a member of Connection Point Church, West Lafayette, Earl Park American Legion Post #455 & Illiana Antique Power Association. Johnny loved spending time with his Grandchildren & attending their sporting events with Boswell Elementary, Benton Central & Seeger. He was an avid Purdue fan, enjoyed farming, antique tractors, tractor pulls & camping. He was very active in the formation of the former Boswell Community Ambulance Association. Johnny was well known & will be remembered for always joking around & tormenting people.

Surviving with his wife, Nancy, are 2 Sons, Troy Lee ( Michele) Tucker & Kyle Ray (Samantha Ledford) Tucker, 6 Grandchildren, Skyler Ray (Abby Wirtz), Koltin Thomas, Tristin Lee, Kyrah Nicole, Justin Cole & Austin Ray, Sister, Deborah Ellen (Jerry) Gunderson, 2 Nephews, Brad & Greg (Patty) Dowling, 3 Sisters-in-Law, Betty (Lyle) Clover, Beverly (Gene) Balser & Jane Lee, former Daughter-in-Law, Nicole Tucker & Many Nieces & Nephews. He is preceded in death by his Parents, John R. & G. Bernice (Fletcher) Tucker, Paternal Grandparents, Everett B. & Pearl B. Tucker & Maternal Grandparents, Clifford H. & Minnie E. Fletcher, Brother-in-Law, Earl Lee & Mother & Father-in-Law, Earl & Louise Lee.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 12, 2020, from 10 AM until the time of services at 2 PM, at Connection Point Church, 2541 Cumberland Ave., West Lafayette, IN., with Pastor Zack Rainey & Pastor Gary Sims officiating. Casual attire is requested. Burial, to follow, at Boswell Cemetery. The family welcomes your visitation but is truly understanding & is encouraging of COVID precautions.
