Joshua P. McKinzie , 45, of Oxford, died unexpectedly, Saturday, August 28, 2021; while camping. He was born, March 5, 1976, in Lafayette. He attended Harrison High School. He married, Shonda (Moyars) McKinzie, July 1, 2006, in Oxford; she survives. He was employed at ZF/TRW. He was a member of the Oxford United Methodist Church. Josh enjoyed being with family & friends, camping, coaching girls' softball & doing volunteer work.

Surviving with his Wife, Shonda, are 2 Sons, Calvin R. & Colten R. McKinzie, 2 Daughters, Alison P. & Alexis S. McKinzie, 2 Step-Daughters, Kaylee G. Whitaker & Kerri A. Daws, Mom & Step-Dad, Vickie & Leonard Gray, Father & Mother-in-Law, James & Deborah Moyars, Sister, Thome (Husband, Scott) Estes, Brother, Todd McKinzie, 3 Grandsons, Leroy Whitaker, Christian Castillo & Elijah Noe, many Nieces & a Nephew. He is preceded in death by his Dad, Robert B. McKinzie, Son-in-Law, Jason L. Whitaker, Paternal Grandparents, Jean A. & William F. McKinzie & Maternal Grandparents, Patricia Cain & Richard Owens.

A Celebration of Josh's Life will be at 5 PM, Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Old Academy Park, 601 South Crown Street, Oxford, IN 47971.
