Joshua S. Painter , 48, of Battle Ground & formerly of Boswell, died Tuesday, January 20, 2026; as the result of a motor vehicle accident. He was born June 15, 1977, in Terre Haute, to the late Steven & Linda (Allison) Painter. He was a 1996 graduate of Benton Central High School & a 2015 graduate of Ivy Tech. He was currently working at Caterpillar. Josh loved his dogs, working on vehicles & remodeling his home.

Josh is survived by his Brother, Shannon Painter, Nephew, Nathaniel Painter, 4 Aunts, Joyce Allison, Deb Cronkhite, Vickie Schlene & Jane Painter & several Cousins. He is preceded in death by his Parents & a Brother, Barry Painter.
