Joyce E. Anderson , 78, of Oxford, died Saturday, June 13, 2026. She was born, November 1, 1947, in Boswell to the late Clarence & Velma (Burton) McDaniel. She married, Harold Anderson, March 29, 2003, in Monticello, KY; he preceded her in death, May 26, 2012. She was a 1966 graduate of Boswell High School. She was a member of the Fowler Baptist Church. She had previously worked at Asgrow/Monsanto Seed Company, Fellure's IGA & Benton Community School Corporation. Joyce enjoyed spending time with her family, going to garage sales, Facebook, playing gin rummy on her computer & watching/feeding the birds & squirrels in her yard.

Joyce is survived by her Son, Brian (Sharron) Burge, Step-Son, Mike (Silke) Anderson, 7 Grandchildren, Megan & Keith Burge, Brandon (Brittney) Fultz, Tanner Fultz, Rylan Burge & Connor & Ian Anderson, Great-Grandson, Matthew Combs, Sister, Wilma Butler & several Nieces & Nephews. She is preceded in death by her Daughter, Kimberly Burge, 2 Brothers, Wayne & Glenn McDaniel & 2 Sisters, Rosie Schwartz & Faye Mailloux.

Visitation will be, Friday, June 19, 2026, from 11 AM until the time of service at 1 PM, at Shoemaker Funeral Home, Otterbein, with Pastor Tony King officiating. Burial will be at Justus Cemetery, Oxford. Memorial Contributions may be made, to Joyce's family to help with expenses.
