Judy Ann Scherer , 77, of Fowler, died, Tuesday, January 2, 2024. She was born, November 23, 1946, in Logansport, to the late Fred & Fannie (Bingaman) Simons. She married, Donald Scherer, December 14, 1968, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, in West Lafayette; he preceded her in death September 21, 2002. She was a 1965 graduate of Delphi High School & had attended Indiana State University. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Dunnington. Judy was a true farm wife, but had also worked at Farm Service Agency & IBM Corporation. She enjoyed reading, restoring primitive antiques, hiking Indiana State Parks & traveling with friends.

Judy is survived by 2 Daughters, Cindy Ade & Christy Scherer, 6 Grandchildren, Katelin, Emily, Conner, Kacie & Carly Ade & Collin Cripe, 2 Great-Grandchildren, Steven & Axel Theesfeld, Sister, Nancy Fowler & Brother, Mike Simons. She is preceded in death by a Son-in-Law, Steven Ade.

In accordance with Judy's wishes there will be no formal services. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Dunnington. Shoemaker Funeral Home, Otterbein is assisting Judy's family.
