Karen J. Ransom , 71, of Ambia, died Friday, February 28, 2025. She was born, July 13, 1953, in Danville, IL, to the late Elbert & Dorothy (Hushaw) Weston. She married Daniel Ransom, April 9, 1977, in Locust Grove; he survives. Karen was a 1973 graduate of Rossville High School. She had worked, for 11 years, as a CNA, for St. Vincent's Home Healthcare. Karen enjoyed spending with her family; especially her 3 Grandsons, sewing & crafts.

Karen is survived by her Husband, Dan Ransom, Daughter, Sara Odle, 3 Grandchildren, Caleb, Carson & Julian & Son-in-Law, Bruce Gough. She is preceded in death by a Daughter, Stacey Gough, Niece, Tracey Ransom Barnard & Father-in-Law & Mother-in-Law, Claire "Pete" & Louise Ransom.

Visitation will be from 12 PM until time of service, at 2 PM, Friday, March 7, 2025, at Locust Grove Community Church, 8362 N. 600 W., Ambia, with Rev. Charles B. Anderson officiating.
