Larry Ray Chaffee , 75, of Boswell, died, Friday, April 10, 2020. He was born, October 2, 1944, in Danville, IL, to the late Raymond & Florence Amanda (Pence) Chaffee. He was a 1963 graduate of Boswell High School.  Larry was the owner of Rafter C Horse and Trailer sales, licensed auctioneer and farmer. He was an avid collector of old western memorabilia including; bits, spurs and saddles.  He was a life-long member of the National Quarter Horse Association and Hoopeston VFW.  He married Barbara Joanne (Atkins) Chaffee, December 15, 2001, in Las Vegas; she died April 11, 2020.

Surviving are a Daughter, Amanda Rae (Ryan David) Mills & 2 Granddaughters, Violet Adeline & Ruby Estelle Mills.

A private family service will take place at Welles Cemetery, Penfield, IL. A Celebration of Life, will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Food Finders Food Bank of Lafayette, 1204 Greenbush St., Lafayette, IN 47904.
