Louise Francisca Diaz Kuykendall , 75; of Fowler, IN and Davenport, FL; died on Wednesday, September 18, 2019. She was born January 9, 1944, in Chicago, IL to the late Joseph Ramirez and Pearl Katherine (Clark) Diaz. Her father was very proud that she was a first generation American. Louise and her husband, David B. Kuykendall, were married on August 18, 1962 in Oak Lawn, IL. They had just celebrated 57 years of an adventurous marriage. They lived and traveled in Asia and Europe. Together, they also lived in Kansas, North Carolina, California, Florida, Illinois and Indiana. She was a 1962 graduate of Bremen High School, Midlothian, IL. Louise was a member of Community of Faith UMC in Davenport, FL and a member of American Legion Post # 57 Auxiliary, Fowler. She was also a long time member of the Air Force Sergeant's Association. She participated in many service organizations as well as her children's schools when they were younger. The highlight of her life was being a wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Surviving, along with her husband, David, are her 3 daughters: Deanna Kuykendall Lloyd, Dana Kuykendall Longman and Donna (Jay) Hall; 8 grandchildren: Ashley (Michael) Mowery, Kenneth (Santagia) Longman, Andrew Longman, Kelli (Josh) Wretlind, David (Rachel) Hall, Lydia Lloyd, Cynthia Hall & Laura Hall; and 7 great grandchildren: Phoenix Harper-Mowery, Griffin Mowery, Kenalee Longman, Adalynn Hall, Lillie Wretlind, Eleanor Hall & William Longman. She is also mourned by her sisters-in-law: Deanna Snedden, Maryann Kuykendall, Jackie Erickson and Judy Erickson, as well as a great number of nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by a grandson, James Hall, and her siblings, Gaylord Erickson, Patricia (Herbert) Cissna, Robert Erickson and Dorothy (William) Schmidt, as well as her much loved siblings-in-law: Dolores (Art) Goulding, Ronald Kuykendall and Wayne Snedden.
