Mary Louise Rooze , 89, of West Lafayette, died, Monday, November 20, 2023. She was born, January 8, 1934, in Rensselaer, to the late George M. & Eva Mae (Simonin) Ginther. She married Richard "Dick" Rooze, June 7, 1975, in Montmorenci; he preceded her in death July 7, 2021. She was a 1952 graduate of Otterbein High School & attended Girls State her senior year of high school. Mary had worked at Kerkhoff Associates, in Otterbein for several years before working at Purdue National Bank then Chase Bank before retiring. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church. Mary enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling, playing cards & cross stitching.

Mary is survived by 3 Children, Debra (Greg) Summers, Donna (Eric) Wiley & Douglas Leslie, 4 Step-Children, Carolee Doeden, Cindy (Jim) David, Mike (Cathy) Rooze & Randy Rooze, 5 Grandchildren, Justin (Bella) Summers, Nathan (Gina) Summers, Trent Wiley, Tara (Nathan) Flook& Doug Leslie, Jr., 7 Step-Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren, 26 Step-Great-Grandchildren & a Sister, Betty Wettschurack. She is preceded in death by a Daughter, Dinah Lou Leslie & a Son-in-Law, Dennis Doeden.

Visitation will be Friday, November 24, 2023, from 10 AM until time of services at 12 PM, at the Otterbein United Methodist Church, 405 East Oxford Street, Otterbein, with Pastor Gary Sims officiating. Burial will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
