Maybell Lewis , 83, of Otterbein, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, August 5, 2018. She was born, April 25, 1935, in Brownsville, Kentucky, to the late Hughie & Ethel (Cowles) Bledsoe. She had worked at Purdue University. Maybell was an active member of the Montmorenci Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards & other games. She will be remembered for making great pancakes, fried taters, chocolate pies & peach cobbler.

She is survived by her 3 children, James Mitchell (Wife, Joyce), Nadine Davis (Husband, Tom) & Kenneth Hughes (Wife, Tammy), 9 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren & Sister, Maple Kidd (Husband, Donald). She is preceded in death by 5 Brothers & 2 Sisters.

Visitation will be, Wednesday, August 8, 2018, from 5-7 PM, at Shoemaker Funeral Home, Otterbein. Funeral services will be, at Shoemaker Funeral Home, Thursday, August 9, 2018, at 10 AM, with Pastor Donnie Ely officiating. Burial will be at Montmorenci Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Montmorenci Baptist Church.
