Michael L. "Fats" Allen , 67, of Oxford, died, Sunday, January 7, 2024. He was born, January 7, 1957, in Lafayette, to the late Robert "Gene" & Georgia R. (Piercy) Allen. He was a 1976 graduate of Benton Central High School. He married, Theresa (Wiegand) Allen, July 10, 1976, in Oxford; she survives. Fats enjoyed spending time with his Family, especially his Grandkids, & friends, taking rides with his dog, Elsa, tinkering & collecting "junk" on his farm, car, truck & tractor shows, raising livestock & helping friends at harvest time.

Mike is survived by his Wife, Theresa, 2 Daughters, Stacey (Megan) & Jamie (Jon), Son, Cory (Jorden), 3 Granddaughters, Sophia, Madison & Kennedy, 3 Grandsons, Parker, Finnley & Kahne, 2 Sisters-in-Law, Nina (Travis) Owens & Carol Zimmerman & several Nieces & Nephews. He is preceded in death by his Sister, Bonnie Allen & Father & Mother-in-Law, Dorothy & Ted Silvers.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Shoemaker Funeral Home, Otterbein, from 2 PM until time of services at 5 PM, with Roger Worley officiating. Casual attire is requested. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Benton Central FFA or Benton Central Auto Mechanics, 4241 East 300 South, Oxford, IN 47971.
