Ralph "Muggs" Edward Wolfe , 95, of Oxford, died, Saturday, February 12, 2022. He was born January 7, 1927, in Corydon, to the late William J. & Alda (Cline) Wolfe. He attended Oxford High School until he enlisted into the United States Army during World War II. He eventually received his diploma from the former Oxford High School in 2009. He married, Caroline (Finch) Wolfe, August 15, 1947, in Oxford; she preceded him in death, July 10, 2020. Muggs formerly owned Wolfe's Bar in Oxford & was a bus driver for Benton Community School Corporation, for 20+ years; retiring in 2003. He was a member of the Oxford Federated Church, Fowler American Legion Post #57 & the United States Trotting Association. He was his Grandchildren's & Great-Grandchildren's biggest fan. Muggs' was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan & a proud Lady Bison supporter. He enjoyed hunting & fishing. He loved his horses, breeding, training & racing standard breed pacers. He was proud of Holly's Upset time of 1:55, in July of 1998. Muggs never met a stranger & he always carried candy in his pocket to hand out & will be dearly missed.

Surviving, are a Daughter, Lynn (Rick) Boehle, 4 Grandchildren & 8 Great-Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a Son, James Alan Wolfe, 4 Brothers, Harvey, Virgil, Arnold & Donald Wolfe, 3 Sisters, Catherine Wolfe, Mildred Brooks & Leona Armstrong & a Granddaughter-in-Law, Heather Boehle.

Graveside Services will be at 11 AM, Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Justus Cemetery, 805 S. Howard St., Oxford, IN, with Glenn Bussa officiating. Military Honors by the Fowler American Legion Post #57. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Fowler American Legion Post #57, 400 E. 5th St., Fowler, IN 47944.
