Raymond "Ray" Joseph Muller , 82, of Williamsport and formerly Oxford, died Wednesday, February 19, 2020. He was born September 7, 1937 in Fowler to the late Leo & Theresa (Donohue) Muller. He attended grade school in Dunnington and went on to Boswell High School. He married Shirley (Tabert) Muller, April 11, 1959 in Oxford; she survives. Ray served 8 years in the National Guard. He was a farmer, construction worker, and served several years as a Deputy Marshal in Boswell. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and former member of the Parish Council, and Oak Grove Country Club. Ray enjoyed trapshooting, hunting, woodworking, golfing, bird watching and loved baseball.

Surviving with his wife, Shirley, are two sisters Joan (Chuck) Valentine of Naples, FL, and Judy (Bill) Modesitt of Lafayette; four children Dennis (Beth) Muller of Dwight, IL, Marci (Denny) Burton of Goodland, Jenny (Bob) Strode of Morton, IL, and Michael (Megan) Dalton of Fowler; and his grandchildren Ashley Burton, Brittany (Nathan) Besse, Chad (Jamie) Burton, Katelynn (Tim) Quigley, Daniel Muller, Bobby and Bailey Strode, and Ellie Dalton, as well as four great-granddaughters. He is preceded in death by brother, William Muller, and two sons, Steve and Rick Muller.

Visitation will be Monday, February 24 from 9 to 11 AM with Mass immediately following, and Rosary at 8:45 AM, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 504 S. Michigan St., Oxford, with Father Thomas Haan officiating. Burial will be at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Oxford. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be given to St. Patrick Catholic Church or St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery. Shoemaker Funeral Home is assisting Ray's Family.
