Robert "Bob" A. Vanderwall , 76, of Otterbein, died, Tuesday, November 25, 2025; surrounded by his family. He was born, June 3, 1949, in Cincinnati, OH, to the late Darwin & Sylvia (Fiorda) Vanderwall. He married, Marlys (Goodman) Vanderwall, September 5, 1970, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in Fowler; she survives. He was a 1967 graduate of South Newton High School & attended Vincennes University. He had worked as a production control manager, at Mud Hog, for 40 years; retiring in 2019. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, Otterbein. Bob enjoyed spending time at their lake house surrounded by family, watching his grandchildren's sporting events, playing marbles with his grandchildren, playing euchre & ice cream. He was an avid Purdue, Colts & Chiefs fan.

Bob is survived by his Wife, Marlys, Daughter, Heather (Larry) Richey, 2 Sons, Scott (Emily) Vanderwall & Shawn (Morgan) Vanderwall, 9 Grandchildren, Jim, Nick, Noah, Vincent, Victoria, Hudson & Harper Vanderwall & Halle (Ryan) & Lexie Richey, several In-Laws & numerous Nieces & Nephews. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Darwin & Sylvia Vanderwall & a Sister, Monica Hanford.

A gathering of Family & Friends to Celebrate Bob's Life will be Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 1-4 PM, at Shoemaker Funeral Home, Otterbein. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Foundation in Bob's honor.
