Robert Gene Mayfield , 89, of Boswell, died Thursday, December 16, 2021. He was born, July 31, 1932, in Somerset, KY, to the late Lonnie & Roxie Ellene (Ziglar) Mayfield. He married Emma Jean (Barker) Mayfield, December 22, 1951, in Somerset, KY; she died, September 19, 2007. Bob previously worked at Alcoa & owned & operated Mayfield Antenna Sales & Service. He enjoyed fishing & watching NASCAR.

Bob is survived by 2 Sons, Chuck Mayfield (Wife, Louise), of Indianapolis, Gene Mayfield (Wife, Pamela), of Greensburg, IN, Brother, Curtis Mayfield (Wife, Fayrene) of Somerset, KY, Sister, Shirley Wilson (Husband, Billy), of Faubush, KY, 4 Grandchildren, Brooke Plummer, Jordon & Katie Mayfield & Melissa Sorokty & 5 Great-Grandchildren, Nolan & Haven Plummer, Kelsey Sorokty, Natalia Sanchez & Mylaa Mayfield. He is preceded in death by a Daughter, Sharon Kay Mayfield, Sister, Lessie Mayfield & 2 Brothers, Allen & Carl Mayfield.

Visitation will be, Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 1 PM until time of services at 3 PM, at the Boswell Church of Christ, 310 S. Clinton St., Boswell, with Chris Plummer officiating. Burial will be at the Boswell Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Boswell Cemetery, 304 W.
