Ronald "Harp" Ray Harper, Sr. , 75, of Boswell, died, Wednesday, April 18, 2018. He was born February 3, 1943, in Attica, to the late Virgil "Doc" & Mary Virginia (Allen) Harper. He married Judith (Parson) Harper, February 22, 1964, in Boswell; she survives. He was a 1961 Graduate of Boswell High School. He retired from C&D Battery. Ron was a member of the Boswell Free Methodist Church & former member of the Boswell-Grant Township Volunteer Fire Department; he had also served on the Boswell Town Board, coached Little League Baseball & was a former Boswell Boy Scout Master. Ron loved spending time with his Family & friends, Hunting & Fishing.

Surviving with his wife, of 54 years, Judy, is a Daughter, Virginia Marie Brookshire (Husband, Matt), 3 Sons, Ronald Ray Harper, Jr. (Wife, Susan), Victor Allen Harper (Wife, Christie) & David Val Jean Harper (Wife, Kristin), 12 Grandchildren, Nathaniel, Nicholas, Seth, Elijah, Brian, Brett, Bradley, Brock, Charles & Ellen Harper & Julia & Sam Brookshire, 2 Sisters, June Johnson & Lydia Mull & 2 Brothers, Rick Shonkwiler (Wife, Marilyn) & Tom Shonkwiler (Wife, Mary). He is preceded in death by his Biological Father, Richard Ray Shonkwiler & Grandson, Knox Daniel Harper.

Visitation to Celebrate Ron's Life will be Monday, April 23, 2018, from 4-7 PM, at the Boswell Free Methodist Church, 402 S. Old US Highway 41, Boswell. Funeral Celebration will, at 10 AM, Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at the Boswell Free Methodist Church with his Brother-in-Law Pastor Calvin Waugh & Pastor Gerald Fleming officiating.
