Shirley J. Brown , 77, of Lafayette, died Monday, August 30, 2021. She was born September 10, 1943, in Benton County, to the late Clyde & Lola (McDaniel) Burton. She attended Ambia High School. She married John Brown, November 27, 1965, in Lafayette; he survives. Shirley had formerly worked at Essex Wire & the Boswell IGA. She enjoyed gardening & cooking.

Surviving with her Husband, John, are Brother, Larry Burton, Sister, Kathy (Husband, Tom "Peno") Sarault, Brother-in-Law, Albert Tyler & several Nieces & Nephews. She is preceded in death by Sister & Brother-in-Law, Hazine & Denzil Daulton, Sister, Beatrice Tyler, Brother, Dwain Burton, Brothers-in-Law, Larry Brown & James Felix & Nephews, Terry, Brian & Dwight Daulton.

Graveside Service will be at 2 PM, Thursday, September 2, 2021, at the Boswell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be given to Boswell Cemetery.
