Steven L. Ade , 53, of West Lafayette, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021; surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 3, 1967, in Lafayette, to Paul Ade & the late Janice (White) Ade. He was a 1987 graduate of Benton Central High School & a 1992 graduate of Purdue University; with a degree in Agronomy. Steve worked for Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC (previously Senesac Inc), in Benton County; since 1992. He married Cindy A. (Scherer) Ade on December 19, 1992; she survives. He was a member of the Tippecanoe County 4-H Exhibit Association & had served as President. Steve loved spending time with his family & friends. He enjoyed showing pigs, coaching Little Gridiron football, his job & driving around checking fields. Steve was known for his big heart & was always there to lend a hand. He was also known for his ability to make you feel like you knew him for years while only meeting him minutes before & his sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by all.

Surviving with his Wife, Cindy, are their 5 Children, Katelin, Emily, Conner, Kacie & Carly Ade, newborn twin Grandsons, Axel & Steven Theesfeld, Father, Paul Ade, Sister, Alicia (Husband, Ryan) Reed, Sister-in-Law, Christy Scherer, 2 Nephews, Collin Cripe & Liam Reed, Niece, Aubree Reed & Mother-in-Law, Judy Scherer.

For the safety of Steve's family & the community, private Family Funeral Services, will be held. A Celebration of Steve's Life will be held, at a later date.
