Steven Allen Dwenger , 68, of Boswell, died, Wednesday, August 31, 2022. He was born, July 18, 1954, in Lafayette, to the late Urban Henry & Alice (Hasser) Dwenger. He was a 1972 graduate of Benton Central High School. He worked as a Project Manager & Heavy Equipment Operator for Dwenger Excavating Contractors Inc. Steve was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, in Dunnington & a member of the Sons of AMVETS Post #102, where he served as Provo Marshall. Steve loved spending time with his grandsons & going to breakfast with them. He enjoyed flea markets, working with steel, motorcycle riding & day trips.

Steve is survived by his Son, Steven (Laura) Dwenger, 2 Grandsons, Daniel & Thomas, Fiancé, Helga Haniford, 3 Sisters & 3 Brothers, Janet Kult, Dave (Eileen) Dwenger, Jim (Betty) Dwenger, Mary (Ken) Meyer, Norma McGinnis & Mike (Melisa) Dwenger, Helga's Son, Breck (Rebecca) Haniford & his Children, Sebastian & Ariana, 15 Nieces & Nephews & 20 Great Nieces & Great-Nephews. He is preceded in death by 2 Sisters, Linda Miltz & Carol Dwenger, 3 Brothers-in-Law, Joe Kult, Tilford "Tip" Cline & Kenneth McGinnis & Ex-Wife, Diana Van Dame.

Visitation will be, Wednesday, September 7, 2022, from 1 PM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 3 PM, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2960 S. State Road 71, Fowler, IN, with Father Peter Vanderkolk officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Dunnington.
