Tony Ray Ybarra, Sr. , 54, of Ambia, died, Wednesday, July 18, 2018, with his family by his side, after a courageous 3 year battle with cancer. He was born, February 8, 1964, in Morris, IL, to Bruno & Ernestina (Zarate) Ybarra. He was a graduate of Rio Grande City High School. He married, Norma (Flores) Ybarra, November 19, 1988, in La Grulla, TX; she survives. Tony worked for RoadSafe Traffic Systems, for 20 years. Tony's Family meant everything & he enjoyed spending his free time with them. He also, enjoyed spending time with his dog, Chico.

Tony is survived by his Wife, Norma, 4 Sons, Victor, Tony Jr., Joel & Ben & his Siblings, Melissa Ybarra, Bruno (Donna) Ybarra, Jr., Elda (Gabino) Bazan, Aide (Danny) Gutierrez & Jessica (Roel) Solis. He is preceded in death by his Maternal & Paternal Grandparents.

Visitation, to celebrate Tony's life, will be, Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Shoemaker Funeral Home, Otterbein, from 3-7 PM, with Rosary at 7 PM, followed by Funeral Service, with Father Peter Vanderkolk officiating.
