William "Bill" Curtis Whaley , 69, of Kentland, died Tuesday, August 6, 2024. He was born, July 22, 1955, in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, to the late Duane D. & Carol A. (Blankenbaker) Whaley. Bill was a 1974 graduate of South Newton High School. He had worked construction his entire life. Bill loved watching all his Grandkids play all their sports. He enjoyed fishing, tinkering & mowing yards.

Bill is survived by his 2 Sons, Chris (Wife, Sarah) Whaley & Jay (Wife, Abbey) Whaley, 6 Grandchildren, Koel, Kanon & Kadyn Whaley & Hunter, Payten & Nolan Whaley, Brother, Jack Whaley, Sister, Cheryl (Husband, Jim) Link, 5 Nieces & Nephews, Shannon, Keenan & Devon Whaley, Christy Durham & Jessica Rutledge & several Great- Nieces & Nephews. He is preceded in death by his Brother, Scott Whaley.

In accordance with Bill's wishes there will be no formal services. A Celebration of Bill's Life will take place at a later date. Shoemaker Funeral Home, Otterbein, is assisting Bill's Family.
